After a longgggg wait. It finally, officially, snowed in Denver Friday morning.

It was a race to the finish line as this chance of snow was seeming to fizzle out just before the action arrived but thankfully, this round of snow held together just enough to give Denver its first snow of the season.

Most areas of the Denver metro saw about an inch or two of accumulation. Snow is already winding down and will be completely out of the area by this afternoon. With sunshine coming back tomorrow, most of this snow will be gone by Saturday afternoon.

After this, we have another storm we are watching for the middle of next week but as of now, that doesn’t look to bring a huge chance of snow with it to Denver or the Front Range.

Enjoy the snow!
