Some big time snows are coming to the Coast Mountains in British Columbia this week while other mountains in the Western US will be seeing some decent snows on and off this week.
A big storm is entering the west coast today and will bring snow to all mountains of the west between now and Wednesday. Behind that, another storm will move in bringing more snow to the PNW and Western Canada.
As storm one pushes inland, snow will fall in the Sierra Nevada first and then spread north through the Cascades through Monday night. By Tuesday, this storm begins to move inland and will bring the Utah, Wyoming and Colorado mountains some snow by Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Between storm #1 and Storm #2, there will be NW flow that will bring additional accumulation from Wednesday to Thursday for the Wyoming and Colorado mountains. Storm #2 rolls in Thursday to Saturday morning but will mainly impact Washington and British Columbia.
The biggest snows will occur in Washing and British Columbia but up to a foot of snow is possible in the Sierra Nevada, the Tetons and the northern Colorado Rockies. Enjoy the weather!
